Introduction to Selective, Private University Admission

Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 4:00 PM until 5:00 PMPacific Daylight Time UTC -07:00

In this one-hour program, admission officers will provide an introduction to highly selective admission at private universities in the United States and discuss important factors to consider in any college search before taking questions. Topics will include: identifying academic, social, and cultural "fit," interpreting financial aid terms, understanding the "holistic" and "contextual" review many selective colleges practice, and making the most of each part of the application.

This program is open to high school students at any stage of their college search and is relevant regardless of their interest in Stanford. To participate, please fill out the following form. You may pre-submit questions, but please note we will focus on questions about the topics above, rather than questions specific to Stanford.

We look forward to connecting with you!
