Congratulations on your admission to Stanford University! We are excited to welcome you to campus and provide you with a glimpse into life as a Stanford student.
Starting Friday, April 4 (and running through Monday, April 21), we will be offering on-campus visit programming specifically for admitted students Monday-Friday:
Prospective Undergraduate Student Tour
(Monday-Friday @ 10:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m., and 3:15 p.m.)
This tour typically lasts about 90 minutes and will cover nearly all of the central areas of campus over the course of its flat and accessible 2-mile path. Your student guide will focus particularly on sharing with you the amazing opportunities and experiences that come with being an undergraduate student at Stanford.
Academic Specialty Tours
(Mondays & Fridays @ 3:15 p.m.)
We offer three specialty tours that focus on different academic fields: the Humanities & Arts Tour, the Social Sciences Tour (political science, economics, public policy, psychology, etc.), and the Engineering & Computer Science Tour. These 45-minute tours, offered Mondays and Fridays, will explore the areas of campus specific to each of these academic pursuits and are intended to complement the Prospective Undergraduate Student Tour. These tours are led by current students and represent a student perspective only; faculty and staff from these respective areas will not be speaking as part of these tours.
Student Forum (Students Only) - Registration not required
(Mondays & Fridays @ 12:00 p.m.)
The Student Forum provides a casual, comfortable opportunity for prospective students (and only students) to chat with 3-5 current undergraduate students to learn more about what it's really like to be a student on the Stanford campus. The student hosts will not talk about admission or financial aid, but instead about student life - academics, athletics, activities, residences, dining, weekends, the social scene, etc. Please note that these sessions are also open to prospective undergraduate students who have not yet applied or been offered admission to Stanford.
Parent & Supporters Forum - Registration not required
(Mondays & Fridays @ 12:00 p.m.)
The Parent & Supporters Forum, designed for parents, family members, and other supporters of prospective undergraduate students, is an informal, 45-minute question-and-answer session with a couple current Stanford undergraduates who represent a variety of backgrounds and interests and a professional staff member. Bring your lunch, and don't worry if you're running late - this is a very relaxed program! While the Student Forum is often held outdoors, the Parent & Supporters Forum is held indoors. Please note that these sessions are also open to parents and supports of prospective undergraduate students who have not yet applied or been offered admission to Stanford.
