Campus Tours for Organized Groups

Designed exclusively for prospective undergraduate groups – high schools, community colleges, and non-profit organizations focused on access to college – these 45-minute private, student-led tours offer a great introduction to Stanford University. Reservations are required, so groups that meet our eligibility criteria should email grouptours@stanford.edu to learn more about current availability and request a tour. Please allow up to one month for scheduling and confirmation. We currently offer group tours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 11:15am and 1:30pm during select weeks of the academic quarter.

Please note: we do not reserve tours for groups through third party booking agencies, and require direct communication with visiting schools and their chaperones. We also do not provide group tours for commercial organizations, corporate groups, and other non-educational groups.

Requests can be made by sending an email to grouptours@stanford.edu. details about the name of your organization, the number of participants (including chaperones), mode of transportation to campus, and contact information for the primary contact.

As a rule, we give first priority to academic groups - domestic or international - that are sponsored by the school or institution itself. When applicable, we prioritize by dates the requests are submitted; submission is not a guarantee of a group tour.

We no longer book tours through third parties (e.g. travel agencies, tour operators, etc.). For third party groups: Please have your client group send the Group Tour Request first. Further communication can take place after contact is established with the actual group touring Stanford University.
